Casting

Do you think you have what it takes to provide authentic character experiences and make little dreams come true? Well, luckily for you, our (story) books are open!

We are currently casting for ALL ROLES, however we’re especially keen to hear from MALE IDENTIFYING performers and BLACK, ASIAN, MIDDLE EASTERN and ETHNIC MINORITY PERFORMERS of ALL GENDERS, and would love to hear from you! Our family of beloved fairytale characters, superheroes (and even a villain or two!) is always growing – so if you’re a crime-fighter or magic maker at heart, there could be a place for you in it.

Full training will be provided following a successful audition, as well as access to our library of training resources. We offer excellent rates of pay up to £60/hr (performers) and £30/hr (assistants), plus mileage where applicable. Please note that we cannot accept applications from anyone under the age of 18.

Requirements

Performers

  • Resemblance to our characters 
  • Good weekend availability 
  • Reliable 
  • Background in theatre/performance 
  • Confident vocalist (fairy tale roles only) 
  • Have a current DBS check or be willing to undergo one 

Assistants

  • Good weekend availability
  • Reliability
  • Driver with access to own car 
  • Great with children
  • Interpersonal skills 
  • Have a current DBS check or be willing to undergo one 

Desirable

Performers

  • Experience working with children
  • Able to drive and access to own car
  • Weekday availability in school holidays
  • Local to either of our bases (Eastleigh, Hampshire, or Chichester, West Sussex)
  • Make up application skills 

Assistants

  • Experience working with children
  • Weekday availability in school holidays
  • Local to either of our bases (Eastleigh, Hampshire, or Chichester, West Sussex)
