AKI

Aki's passion for performing kicked off at a young age, as they were eager to be in school plays and talent shows! Their adventure really took flight at Southampton City College, where they dove into Performing Arts. From there, Aki continues their journey at the University of Chichester, where they explore the exciting world of Acting for Film. They've had a blast playing various characters, from Oggy Moxon in Teechers to The Herald in Marat/Sade.

Since starting university, Aki's enthusiasm for performing has only grown, and they've discovered a newfound love for film and filmmaking. Writing scripts has become an enjoyable pastime, and they even filmed a pilot episode for a series they can't wait to develop further. One of Aki's favourite things about performing is the way it can inspire others! They dream of being that person—whether on-screen or on stage—who sparks the same passion in a future actor that Aki felt when they were young. It's all about passing on the joy!

Aki is delighted to be a part of the Imaginacts team and hopes they can make that dream happen!

Who is your favourite Disney character?
I have to say, my favourite Disney characters are definitely Merida and Mirabel! I fell in love with Merida the moment I saw the movie Brave as a kid. She was just the coolest to 7-year-old Aki, and I admired her bravery so much! As for Mirabel, she holds a special spot in my heart because I relate to her on so many levels. Her story is beautiful and heartwarming, and I really see myself in her journey. They're both just amazing!!
Who is your favourite super villain?
Absolutely Hela Odinsdottir! She's a fascinating character in the Marvel universe. I love her striking design and the mix of power and mischief she brings. Despite being super evil, her fun, silly energy makes her stand out to me. Her dynamic with Thor and Loki adds depth, showcasing her strength and intelligence. Overall, Hela is a compelling character who combines darkness with humour!
If you could have one super power, what would it be?
Telekinesis! I truly believe and am incredibly passionate about how broad it is as a superpower. You could technically control anything and anything, there really are no limits!
What’s your favourite snack & why?
I LOVE cornflake cluster bites! They're just the tastiest treat ever, and I can't resist grabbing them whenever I get the chance. I believe they are one of the best snacks invented ever!!
