KATIE

Katie began her performing journey by attending Starcast Performing Arts School where she spent 10 years training in the performing arts and performing in yearly shows playing characters including Matilda, Mrs Wormwood and Elle Woods to name a few. Having attended Starcast since 2012, she has worked hard to improve and grow as a performer in order to gain the best opportunities she could through being invited to Starcast’s Drama Company and Singing Company. This has allowed her to enhance her skills in order to become a well-rounded performer. Katie has also successfully entered Trinity Exams up to Grade 7, all with Distinction.

As a Performing Arts Teaching Assistant of 4 years, she had had many opportunities that have allowed her to gain performing and teaching experience. Most recently completing the Kickstart Scheme as a Trainee Teaching Assistant and working her way up to being a Performing arts Teacher. Katie loves working with Children and is passionate about helping them grow as people and performers! She is a very active performer and has grabbed every opportunity to perform. Most recently she has played Elsa in a Local Frozen Broadway Medley as well as competing in Totton Drama Festival and in a local production of Six the Musical playing Catherine Parr.

Katie is excited to inspire children and bring the amazing characters to life creating magical moments they can cherish forever.
